Generalist channel of the French public service, France 2 offers a wide range of varied and unifying programmes that are intended for all types of audiences. In addition to ensuring the functions of interpretation of information using JTs (television news programmes) in particular, entertainment through programmes, games, series and fictions, France 2 is also a channel for live and major events such as the Olympic Games, Tour de France or even Eurovision.
